JEE Advance Exam 2024 Age Limit
There is no age limit set for JEE Advance by the IITs and candidates can apply irrespective of their age. JEE Advance aspirants have to meet a minimum qualification to be eligible for the EXAM.
JEE Advance Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati set the eligibility criteria such as academic qualifications, age limit, and the number of attempts. The following Eligibility Criteria are given below:
- Candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 in the JEE Main 2024 B.E./B.Tech paper.
- Category-wise distribution of the 2,50,000 slots for General 40.5%, for GEN-EWS 10%, for OBC-NCL 27% for SC 15% and for ST 7.5%.
- General candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1999.
- A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
- Candidates must have appeared for the Class 12 examination for the first time in 2023 or 2024.
- They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates who have already accepted admission at any IIT are not eligible.
- Foreign nationals are directly eligible to register for JEE Advanced and do not need to appear for JEE Main.
- Separate supernumerary seats are allocated for foreign nationals, and the category-wise reservation does not apply to them.
