COMEDK is a very competitive entrance exam for undergraduate engineering courses in Karnataka, India. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, also known as COMEDK, conducts this entrance examination to over 190 engineering colleges in the state. COMEDK Exam Age Limit 

The age limit for ComedK entrance exams is that candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2003. You should not be older than 21 years by 1st July of the admission year. The applicant must have completed or must be appearing in 2025 in any one of the recognized qualifying examinations like the 10+2 System of Examination of any recognized Board in India and or abroad. In addition, applicants should produce their High School / SSC / X Certificate for verification of age while seeking counseling/admission. Failure to do so leads to disqualification.

ComedK Exam Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria for COMEDK (The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) are as follows:

General Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality Indian citizens
2. Date of birth -July 1, 2003
3. Qualifying Examination:

  – 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board/state board/council.  Candidates appearing in 2025 are also eligible.

Specific Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Tech Programs

1. Min. 60 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
2. 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology individually.
3. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.

For Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering:

1. 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
2. 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics individually.

Special Cases:

1. NRI/Foreign candidates: Valid SAT/ACT scores or equivalent qualifications.
2. Candidates with disability: 50% aggregate marks.

COMEDK Exam 2025 Admit Card 

The COMEDK 2025 admit card will be downloadable a few days before the examination. To download it, you will need to use your User ID and Password on the official website of COMEDK. Never forget to carry your admit card along with one valid photo ID proof for appearing at the test centers.

The COMEDK UGET 2025 exam will be conducted in an online computer-based mode, with 180 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam duration is 3 hours, and the marking scheme awards 1 mark for each correct answer with no negative marking.

COMEDK EXAM 2025 SELECTION PROCESS

• The COMEDK 2025 selection process should start in March 2025. This will be after the COMEDK 2025 cut-off, set for early February 2025. 
• Each COMEDK institute has a unique COMEDK 2025 selection process. There is no centralized procedure for it. 
• Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the selection process. There is no fixed weight for any part of it.
• Students who took the COMEDK exam and made the final merit list will be invited for COMEDK counseling. The next stage of the selection process will use the COMEDK criteria.
• It will include a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). 
• The final merit list will be based on the candidates’ total scores in all stages of the COMEDK 2025 selection process.

COMEDK Exam Counseling 

After the exam, the counseling process is an important step for candidates. During counseling, seats are allocated to candidates in participating institutes based on their ranks and preferences.

Counseling Procedure:

1. Registration: Candidates fill out their online registration form for counseling.
2. Document verification: Candidates verify their documents.
3. Choice filling: Filling out preferred colleges and courses.
